Amazingly beautiful speech and great wise words spoken by Swami Vivekananda at the World parliament of religions at Chicago in 1893 that shook up the colonial yoke in India and made us Indians rise up as a proud people remembering our ancient spiritual heritage and kick the British out of India. Swamiji and other spiritual leaders who followed him later in the 20th century particularly chose America as it was an emerging world power and soon to lead in the 20th Century with decolonisation of the British Empire and the World wars that restructured the European continent. Even President Obama in his visit to India cited Swami Vivekananda and this beautiful connection to his home city Chicago and the friendship between India and America that started over 100 years ago. There is no greater ambassador to the west from India as genuine and incredible as Swami Vivekanda. 🥀🌷🙏
