You can taunt in pizza tower by pressing c. When taunting peppino spaghetti strikes a pose. Taunting right before getting hit is a parry. If you have a combo of 10+, you can perform a super taunt with the Upwards arrow + C. Super taunts are basically screen clear moves that defeat every enemy on screen.

It's a bug, wherein the portals mixing in that way is what turns the character model around and makes it walk backwards giving it the cool effect. Utilizing the glitch requires the usage of the dual portal, and exiting the dual portal stops the glitch and returns it to normal.
