You are absolutely right. Songs from the decades of 50s to 60s were melodious with thoughtful lyrics and a very strong classical base. From 60s to 70s the music became more upbeat with more western music influence but still there was a lot of emphasis on beautiful meaningful lyrics, quality singing and great visuals. From 70s to 80s the trend continued but the emphasis on lyrics was not so much now. In the decade of 1990 to 2000, it all went suddenly downhill with a lot of double-meaning lyrics with accompanying loud, in-the-face visuals. Very few good songs could be heard from that time, especially Bollywood. Then the situation started improving again from 2000 onwards but the lyrics have lost out in this game completely as well as the quality of singing, welcome autotune! Yes, we are still talking and I am not forcing my opinion on anyone.

ill tell you this. the song gabru...the remake would actually be a really good song on its own....but compared the original....the original that was made in line 2010 just out classes it. original by yo yo honey singh ft. j star was a insane song. in the remake they removed literally everything except yo yo still gave the music for it. but its still a great song mainly because the purpose of the remake is alot different than the og. the context the remix is used in looks like the created the remix by circling it around the video to begin with.
