Original VW T5 - Resist The Lift BBQ at Transporter HQ

We love a Pre-facelift van. That where it all started for us. These are why our business even exists. Once a year we like to put on a charity BBQ to celebrate the original T5 Transporter. All profit from the event go to Mind, the mental health charity.
This was such a great day, with like minded people sharing a passion for all things pre-face. There was an awesome mix or eat T5's, from immaculate T5 Sportlines, to perfectly tatty panel vans, with everything in between.
Thank you to everyone that came, and thank you to the THQ team for the hard work leading up to and one the day.
Remember people.... Resist the lift!

I have had my t5 since 2016 and been meaning to face lift her sibce then. But just never been able to. And actually, I thought a while ago i should just get her looking more original. This has helped thanks.

We bought a 2008 1.9 T28 kombi with 160,000 miles on it in 2022. Made a bed from an old dinner table and jazzed it up a bit inside to make it cosy. Every Friday after work we get straight out of town with our cat Buddy and don't come back until Monday morning. We're up at the crack of dawn and head from wherever we are , straight into work. We've been up and down the UK more than a few times now and have clocked a little over 40,000 miles of joy. We couldn't afford the face lift if we wanted :D
