My mom watched the towers go up when she was a little girl, they were a critical part of her childhood. My dad lost two of his college friends during 9/11 and a parishioner that we went to church with also died in the attacks. My parents stayed at the Marriott Hotel (WTC3) in August 2001 and do you know what? They still have a pen they borrowed from the check-in desk on the first floor to this day!

I heard about that pen ! They are selling it on eBay for 1,200 right ? I SHOULD be given to the Tribute Center and not make money of what happened ! Or keep it. It’s part of our history.

I think is just a glitch, a weird glitch tho, cause the North Tower stood exacly 102 minutes after being strike by Flight 11, by the way the Freedom Tower has 102 stories due to this fact.

Luckily there was almost certainly no one on the rooftops on 9/11. The observation deck wasn't open yet at 8:46am, and the roof of the North Tower was only accessible to maintenance and technical staff for the antennas.

@@leanneadams2549 Yes there are some photographs and video footage particularly of the north tower where you can see the window washing apparatus at the north east corner of the building the operator is standing right next to the machine. I wonder if he could have rode that machine down the side of the building, the power was probably cut though. Very sad.
