Original Xbox Retrospective & My Top 10 Most Nostalgic Original Xbox Games
I love the original Microsoft Xbox and its a console I've been playing a lot lately. So on the subject of the original Xbox, i thought i would share my brief history with the Xbox and My Top 10 Most Nostalgic Original Xbox Games.
These games are not necessarily my Top ten favorite games on the console but rather just the ones i think of the most because i played them the most back in the day.

Looking back i think the original xbox was the 1st console i bought with own money too, up until then all my consoles were either birthday or xmas gifts but i had a part time job at a movie theatre in the evenings after school and i am pretty positive the original xbox was my 1st console purchase. I got it pre-owned at an electronics store, i saw it in the window with 2 controllers, the duke and the slim version. I think it came with 1 game too. Blinx. I played it to death and the following payday i went looking for more xbox games so when thinking of my most nostalgic games i will go with: Blinx, Blinx 2, Halo, Halo 2, Obscure, Sonic Riders, The Hunter Reckoning, Wrestlemania 21, Dead or Alive 3, Toejam & Earl 3, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Sonic Heroes, Conkers, Fable. Just to name a few. It was just a fun system that i loved to play either by myself or with my cousin who came over all the time and played it with me when we were teenagers

You did a great job on this man. Really did !!! Editing was on point and just all round nailed it !!! My first console I bought was the ps2. I had others before and like u they were gifts. But I think u did a great job man 😀

crazy stone gamer also the PS2 is a great console and not a bad choice for the first console you ever bought. That was just an amazing generation. Xbox/PS2/GameCube/Dreamcast and PC. That generation was truly legendary for gaming

Yeah it’s such a great game and still holds up today. Simpson’s/GTA is a really good mix.

Talk about coming in late with buying the console! I bought my first Xbox in 2018 not too long before I bought Xbox one. But I had the ps2 bck in the day,although when I plugged the og up and put fable in I was like where the f**k have u been? Lol! I feel deprived now! But I guess never too late,I play it the most and it does look good on a HD TV also

Wow man. But it’s true, its never too late to go back and play this console and it’s games. Also it helps that the prices on most of the games are still fairly low.

I've got a lot of Xbox 360 games on my Xbox one,I mean I skipt 7th gen altogether because my ps2 was still chugging games. I actually believe 6th gen was the best all around. I still have my ps2 I have the GameCube and Xbox,just waiting on finding a good Dreamcast to complete my collection

Matt Wallett yeah the 6th generation was great. Each console was unique and offered something different. I have all 4 of then consoles, but my PS2/Dreamcast/Gamecube Collection pale in comparison to my Xbox collection. On the other system I usually only buy the exclusives. But for the Xbox I buy the exclusives and multipats.

@@MetalHorrorGamer lol! Sounds like me bud! Although I do have more games for the ps2 because of all the years I've had it my original Xbox collection is growing fast. GameCube has good games but I focus more on exclusives for it. But I do,even if it's on PS2 I go for the Xbox port of the game just because of it being a powerhouse at the time and the games look better. I never played a Dreamcast,didn't know anybody that had one but I'm reviewing games on it and yeah I want one for sure! Another thing I keep them all factory,no mods. My Xbox is one of the last being a v.1.6b and it had the clock capacitor revision and no leaks,I've cleaned all of them inside and out,now I will replace thermal paste next time ive got them broke down to clean.

Matt Wallett that’s cool, sounds like you take real damn good care of your consoles. I need to get more ps2 and gamecube games eventually, but right now I’m more circuses in growing my Xbox library. I’m just glad most of the games are pretty cheap. There are a few that getting up there in price.

You can buy Halo 2 from Amazon in good condition 👍 I bought Thief deadly shadow from Amazon recently and the disk was mint 😊

How is thief deadly shadows on Xbox. I know originally it was a PC game but I’m curious how does it hold up to the PC version?

Metal_Horror_Gamer I have it Xbox only ( port version) Never had a PC and remember reading about it coming to Xbox in 2004 and wanted to play it badly 😣 and when I finally did I ❤ it 😊 not sure if you have heard about the Shalebridge cradle level in Thief deadly shadow but it's (one) of the creepiest levels in games ever 😨

Neil Gaskin I have head about a specific level in that game being scary as hell. How does it play on the Xbox?

Metal_Horror_Gamer (sorry comment late) The game plays very well without seeing any glitches 😊 and the level area that is the Shalebridge cradle has this creepy atmosphere with laughing and crying with screams in the background with water dripping and other sounds, also what makes the level more scary is that your a thief not a fighter and your stuck in this abandoned place with no escape until you finish the area properly 😨 to get out of the Shalebridge cradle is to complete every objective until your last objective is to escape.

Ps2 was underrated console with online games and was overshadowed by halo I feel like people who actually owned Xbox played games think about it yes Xbox can play dvd too but ps2 was smaller and you think some old people who just want a cheap dvd would get a Xbox no they would get a ps2 because it’s smaller and more convenient DVD player so I mean even tho ps2 had so much sales most of the people just used it for gta and dvd and missed all the exclusives and online exclusives on ps2 like final fantasy 11, monster hunter, socom, resident evil outbreak and more mortal kombat armogedon I loved actually on ps2 I wish I played online deception Is my favorite idk why you hate 3D era mk those were my favorite mk games and still are probably my most played ps2 game
