The first humans, starting with Adam and Eve, were very civilized and good people and as time passed by evil appeared and increased gradually, till the worst of all evils (shirk aka polytheism) appeared. Havent you seen the massive structures carved by the Aad and Thamud and the Pharaohs which are world monuments today?
