I think this is Hatsune Miku V3 so thats gotta be why her voice sounds so clean and at the same time so smooth to ears. Surely I love this kind of Miku in this kind of progressive tracks a lot more

I was talking about this version :3 vocaloid.wikia.com/wiki/Hatsune_Miku_V3 And yeah this song uses "初音ミク V3" for the vocals according to main site. Older versions sounds just rough but I think they did good job smoothing things up with her voice configurations.

SEGA is only involved with the games and some concert CGI modeling. If anything you should call her Crypton or Yamaha girl, as Crypton is the one that produced Miku and Yamaha is the one that created Vocaloid. Also, the music video for BRS came several years before the OVA or the anime would even be in the works or considered a possibility, as Black Rock Shooter is an original character by huke, one of the artists that are part of supercell, the group that ryo, the composer of the song, is part of.
