If you know their best relievers have been injured, are still injured and/or traded away, it tells you nothing. The fact is that all bullpens blow games, but in this case they didn't.

@@NatTurnerswitBurnerz I get that bullpens will tend to blow it from time to time but the Jays bullpen is ranked one of the worst in MLB and I’ve seen them blow the lead more often than other teams have.

@@NatTurnerswitBurnerz On the contrary, I think it says a lot. At this point you're trying to see if your back of the bullpen guys can be more than that. And the current evidence is saying "no" for some of them. Guys like Pop, Burr and Yerry Rodriguez are replaceable parts. Green, Swanson and Cabrera are reliable enough to keep on for next year. Ideally you don't want any of those guys closing, but they can at least be respectable.

@@connorisgrab4386 Something about still having an elbow 5 years into a career... Also Gausman pitched a 115 pitch complete game just 2 starts ago, so in terms of overworking a guy's arm, Gausman is at as much risk as anyone.

This team reminds me of the 2021 Ravens. The expectations throughout the first half of the season were spectacular but injuries prevented that from being our year. Our whole rotation is injured so it is pretty hard to see how that will carry into playoffs. Every loss just seems to be getting worse and worse

Yeah, well, nobody listened when I repeatedly told them to trade Henderson for someone who get outs. Now it's too late. Kramer is useless. He puts enormous stress on a mediocre bullpen. Most of the rest of the staff needs their throwing arms replaced.

Henderson is a future start, he’s having like 2 bad months and even his bad months are still something most players would kill for. Dean has been one of their more consistent starters all year. Well as usual the Jays did their best to lose the game. I swear there isn't a worse team in baseball for protecting leads. Something has GOT to change with that bullpen. When Vladdy and the crew are pumping the offense they have been you HAVE to support them with good pitching.
