The first fractal I ever saw was a 2D Mandelbrot, it was on a DEC Rainbow computer with an 8088 processor. Back then it took several days just to render that. These blow me away, an infinity ----> zero.

kOOma YO, in a few years, real time very high resolution mandelbulb computations will be quite affordable. If you manage to obtain one of those "flight simulator" rides from a fare or a flight museum, you could build your own Mandelbulb Space Ship and fly around to your heart's content. [You could start with 3d glasses, or a dark room with a projector, guided by a joystick.] May you have great flights.

It has what appears to be a spherical core of a spaceship in the heart section of the mandelbrot and has what can only be described as a giant tetrahadron quantum calculator in the head section.
