Definitely. Shades 2 is an ambient masterpiece in which (I think) Inoue keeps Namlook´s antics at bay.

I heard this a few years back and couldn't remember it's name. I finally plugged in my older computer and sorted through the sea of bookmarks hoping to find this. There was a comment describing 33-43 minutes as the most perfect sound anyone's been able to create and I could not agree more. The old link was removed so I thank you deeply for re-uploading this. I followed your advice to the lad below and bought the cd as well mwahahaha! I shall never lose it again!

Hi, it was me who made the 33-43 minute comment and it still holds true for me - it's just wonderful. If this is what Heaven sounds like, I'm not afraid of dying.

I like the 33-43 segment but the first 20 minutes of Shades of Orion 2 still is a bit more perfect to me, a bit more like hollowed glass tubing and less strings

@@antonycarlyon7547 You speak from the bottom of my heart. 33-34 minute is an example for every human being how the otherworld, the so called heaved, the one, the everything sound like.

For me personally, it's 23-33, but I generally agree with the sentiment. The sound of this album is what I imagine perfectly aligned hearts and minds in a utopian society to sound like. Given this, and all of your comments here in this sacred little community, I share the same love with and for each of you. Thank you for preserving the musical memory of Namlook and keeping this beautiful sonic spirit alive. This gives me hope in humanity.

I can't believe I found this! I was starting to believe I imagined it. I listened to it almost nightly 20 years of go, lost the CD. Looked for it off and on and not too diligently. Here it is, I'm not nuts(or for this reason)

You can still find the CD on Discogs ;)

@@sabbathian Thnx! I'll check it out. I've pretty much abandoned hard copies of things, but I'll probably make an exception for this.
