Lovely masterpiece! 💎💙😌 Go Orkidea ! Story behind by Orkidea: 'Warehouse Requiem' is an ode to breakbeat tracks from my early days of organising illegal warehouse raves in Helsinki. The moment when it’s Sunday morning 9am, party is almost over and we played a chilled, but emotionally euphoric breakbeats to bring the vibe down while the sun was going up. 'Warehouse Requiem' was inspired equally by the current breaks from the likes of Bicep and pioneering 90s music from the likes of Future Sound of London. Dusty breaks sample, chopped ethnic vocals, deep bass and hypnotic synth riff make together a big sounding soundscape from very few elements. Paavo from Above & Beyond described my music “retrofuturistic” and I guess it once again captures well the sound I was looking for. Hope this song finds a home at your preperty, afterparty, home chilling playlist or a sunset drive during the late summer evenings ❤️
