Another great video. I got my daughter the Monsters University Loungefly for her 18th birthday when we were there in July. I love doing resort tours. Basin had some really good reasonably priced deals when I visited. That demonstration was so good. I agree with Donna , you don’t have to go mad doing the parks. You can still have a great time doing other things. In summer time it’s just too hot to be in parks all day which is why we just did after hours parties.

Nothing like a resort tour - and each one offers something different. Yep, night time shows are a great way of avoiding the heat 👍🏼

100% agree with you about not doing the parks every visit. For our next trip we are staying at the Grand Flo for a week and will be resort hopping, Kennedy Space Centre and shopping before heading off for a cruise on the Fantasy then back to Grand Flo for a few more days. Making magical memories this way is so easy thanks to DVC.

Oh yes! Preaching to the choir 🙌🏼 and a lot of people overlook that when they buy and stay at DVC resorts as they feel obligated to buy Disney park tickets (and probably get a bit of FOMO). Those deluxe resorts are amazing hotels to use as a base when not 'doing Disney' Thanks for watching 👍🏼😊

I agree with you. The last 2 visits to Orlando, we only did Universal. We got our Disney fix by visiting springs, then heading to the skyliner resorts with a bit of pin trading. It was enough. Don’t get me wrong, if it was affordable, I’d still do it. But it isn’t!!

Thanks for dropping a comment. We definitely didn't miss it this time. Like you, if it was cheaper, perhaps we'd be tempted to hop down main street. But the draw is definitely Orlando, not just Disney

Excellent vlog travelling around Disney resort pin trading and meeting the Bazzas. As DVC members, do you get a discount on mech, etc? On the subject of not visiting parks, there is so much to do in and around Orlando, especially if you hire a car. Great content, and I look forward to the next instalment.

Hi Chris. You only get DVC discount if you've purchased your contract directly through Disney. Saying that, sometimes you'll get the odd cast member who will give you the discount. Thanks for watching
