Hi! Eggs in the fridge here from the store. we have to because they clean the embryotic coating off. You were right about the egg nog you can get non-alcoholic. But it's seasonal it's usually sold in winter here in North Carolina.

They wash the eggs for bacteria and it removes the coating....so they need to be refrigerated. I couldn't eat a egg stored out of the fridge....

I think the eggs are different in the UK because all the shops stock them out of the fridge at room temperature.
