they just needa merge w. the USFL and become a developmental league under the NFL. like how the NBA got the G-league. they would have way more viewers and it would give guys more opportunities to make NFL rosters. also seeing some top high school recruits opt to go to the XFL as opposed to college would shake the football world up for sure.

@@FlameWingMan I’m sure the nfl would send a QB to the xfl to develop and get game reps… maybe not but it sounds good huh 😂 but the xfl does need to merge with the usfl and combine sponsors and markets.

Imagine you're a linebacker who had their shot at the NFL and missed. This is your new opportunity at another tryout in the NFL where one didn't exist in the past. The NFL used to think of secondary leagues as competition, but fortunately that seems to be changing. I am so hopeful that this version of the XFL (spring league football), like so many who have failed in the past, actually has an opportunity to succeed without the NFL standing in their way. The NFL has always needed the kind of farm system the NHL has built. Players in need of rehab should have the chance to spend a season here before being called back up. Other players like Paxton Lynch should have their shot at making their case as a viable QB2. I absolutely love this.

It’s great to see the XFL back, I thought the second restart of the League was the best attempt at a “Minor” League we have had by far. The amount of people who watched the second rehash was surprising, and shows it was on the right track. Definitely better IMO, compared to the the USFL attempt, and the XFL having the NFLs cooperation will help with staying power. The XFL will probably be here to stay, so what I feel would kick the League over the top would be merger with the CFL. If not the CFL, absorbing the new USFL would also expand the league like needed. Like a NY and/or a Boston team would help huge and is totally missing. If they could just get 12 teams (16 would be amazing) so they can have 4 teams from each conference make the postseason playoffs, this way we get 7 playoff games including the championship bowl game. Just don’t call it the Johnson bowl (after Dwain “The Rock” Johnson), We don’t need to hear guys bragging about and holding their “Johnson’s” after they win the big one. Lol

2020 definitely would of lasted without covid. The crowds were big day one. Aaf had like 5k maybe less in the stands. Xfl is older it already had a name for itself in 2001.

It's amazing how terrible he is. I'm a Cowboy fan and Jerry Jones actually tried to trade up for him. Yikes. They settled on Prescott. Not the best, but dang, It's amazing how wrong scouts are wrong on Qb's. Lynch is terrible.

TV ratings are important. Especially in the individual metros these teams play in. Make sure you post the numbers when they become available. As for this game, Orlando has been embarrassed! Especially bad with them having to put up with Magic basketball's never ending tanking! I only hope they get the Rage or Apollos name back. So I guess a bad Guardians season could have it's advantages. See: Titans, New York becoming Jets, New York after three disastrous Titan seasons. Roughnecks are off to a good start! They'll need it if they want to drive the USFL's Gamblers out of their metro while capitalizing on the failures of Cal McNair football and Tilman Fertitta basketball. Attendance is off to a bad start, but keep the winning streak going, and Rocket attendance will plummet for the Roughnecks. PS - Off topic, there is a *video game wrestling league* by a promoter named *Divalution* that I've been asked to spread the word on. Why don't you check it out? The *Summersham* show is his finest hour.
