Hi everyone!!
In this video we head to the Premier Inn at Bath Road, Heathrow, where we spend the night before flying the next day to Orlando with Virgin Atlantic. We then pick up our hire car and drive to stay at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. Shoutout to ‪@thelawgreens‬ who said they wouldn't forget the shoutout! (You guys should definitely stay here!)

Thanks so much for your kind comments! We’ve stayed at that Premier Inn on Bath Road twice now and it’s a great location, reasonable price - breakfast for cheap if you want it, and a nice bar when you get there! Have a lovely holiday in Florida, we’re off to New York next week! 😊

Hi, thanks for watching and the kind comments. Not sure what it was this year, we’ve always been in August before, apart from last year, and it’s always been hot and humid but this year seemed extra hot!! We hardly had any rain the entire time, only when the hurricane went past further north. Normally there’s a storm every afternoon. Yeah us Brits still use Celsius for temps! Makes sense when the freezing point is actually 0c rather than 32f!! 😂😂 We always have such a great time in Florida, our kids absolutely love it now too, it takes some beating for a holiday!

Hello! Watching a lot of vlogs for an upcoming trip. Can I ask what the reasoning behind a hire car when staying on site? Is it cost effective - sorry if already mentioned

Hi! Thanks so much for watching. It was the first time that we had ever stayed on Disney property. Originally we hadn’t planned to have a car because the hire costs were so expensive, but we ended up getting a great deal with Discount Florida Car Hire. It was then free to park at the hotel and free to park at all the parks because we stayed on site too. Plus we then had the option to go off site to eat because there are some fabulous, better value restaurants off site, plus we managed to fit a day in at Anna Maria Island. We really enjoy driving in the States too. It’s so easy, and it was lovely to come and go to the parks in our own vehicle. If you have any other questions please give us a shout. 😊

great video. I watch a lot of these videos of brits flying to Disney and it's pretty rare that a flight get in at dark during daylight savings time. Do you find it easy to drive on the right side of the road? do you ever accidentally go on the wrong side?

Hi! Thanks for watching. Our flight was originally supposed to leave the UK at 1pm so would have gotten to MCO way earlier, however Virgin changed it to a 3:40pm flight which arrived much later. Driving on the right is pretty easy, all the cars are automatic so they’re a piece of cake to drive. We bought a satnav to use too which was very useful. I’ve never been on the wrong side of the road yet!

Hi, she didn’t mind driving around the Disney area and has driven further afield a couple of times but she’s not as keen as I am to drive. I actually find it relatively easy to drive over there. My only gripe is that people overtake in whatever lane they want! Thanks for the kind words about the editing and content, it’s all still a self taught learning process, and hard to talk to a camera without people thinking you’re mad!!

The interstates can get crazy and it's a common assumption if one is not going 10 mph over the speed limit they get passed. On paper your only supposed to pass in the left most lane but people use all lanes making things chaotic. Anyway the trivial mechanics of your vacation make these videos so entertaining.

Hi, parking is included if you’re staying at the hotel. An even bigger bonus of staying at Disney is that all parking at the parks is included too which saves $25 per visit! Thanks for watching 😊

Hi, yes I’m going to do a vlog on it at some point but it’s called Airalo and was relatively easy to setup and use, and not bad value. It basically gives you a data plan which works in the background as a second line whilst the data is switched off on your primary line. I found videos on KZbin for it to help. Hi Jonny Welcome to the Disney you tuber community 👍 nice travel day. I have a question - hope you don’t mind me asking. I gave up my virgin credit card as I could not use the points to get reward seats during school holidays. I can’t believe you got flights at £1200 for four of you in school holidays but well done. I paid about £3,000 for only three of us with BA economy only in early august to MCO - but then I booked them in September last year; did you get yours so low as you booked last minute? - just puzzled. By the way virgin wanted 50% higher than BA; we always used to fly virgin but they are too expensive now. Have subscribed to follow your trip 👍 David 😎🇬🇧🏰🇺🇸🌴😍 David

Hi David, we booked the flights using the points we accumulated via our virgin credit card. We tracked exactly what day our flight dates would be released by Virgin Atlantic and my wife called at 7am on that day to try and get the reward seats. We were lucky enough to get four of the reward seats, we therefore only had to pay the taxes for each person which were £300 per person giving us the total cost of £1200. We’d heard that school holiday dates were difficult to get which was why we tried to ensure we booked as soon as we possibly could. Hi, thanks for watching. I should have been clearer. As part of our holiday Disney gave us a Walt Disney World Resort Dining & Shopping Promo Card which came on an email which included an option within the email to add to the Apple Wallet which then provided a barcode to pay with. I don’t think you can add normal gift cards to the apple wallet. Hope that makes it clearer, apologies for the poor description! 😊
