In today's video it is sadly our Orlando travel day home! We're flying back from Tampa Florida with Virgin Atlantic to London Heathrow.
We start out with our intro at Disney Springs for our final bits and pieces before we head for our drive to Tampa International Airport and flying back with Virgin Atlantic. We're taking you through the experience of the drive, what you need to do to drop the hire car back and the airport experience.

I can imagine that aborted landing was very scary at the time! On our last couple of trips from Birmingham to Orlando ( Melbourne) with TUI we have treated ourselves to upgraded seats as on that long flight we feel it really does help. With one with long legs & myself as a slightly larger lady 😂😂 it does make a nice difference with the slightly wider seat & more legroom & worth it. We have stayed at the Rosen inn in the past & it was great for what we needed. Last couple times ( and hopefully October this year) we have been with family have stayed at Lake Buena vista resort village and we really like it as we have a 3 bedroom room which is like a nice apartment and suits for us all and close to Disney.

It was absolutely crazy! First time I’ve had one of those 😂 Oh I don’t blame you! I’m not gifted in the height department so the leg room doesn’t affect me too much 😂 premium is a nice touch though. I’ll have to check that resort out for future vacations, always looking for new places that don’t break the bank nowadays ☺️ Thanks for watching the video!

Did you manage to do it on a small budget as mentioned at the beginning.....even though its impossible to stick too over there.... well I've never managed ever

I did, relatively speaking…the hotel was quite cheap, I used airmiles for the flight and hired a car. I spent a bit more than I should have with things like the helicopter tour but obviously that’s not necessary for every day… For food, most of the time I ate off property or just had snacks so things didn’t add up too much

Couldn’t agree more on the old virgin planes - they are disgusting. It’s worse when you have a nice one one way, and a crappy one the other way. No excuse, esp with the cost, as you say!

For the price they’re charging, they need to step up their game, the planes need a refurb. Even the screens in Premium were seriously dated! That’s a lot of money!
