ORLANDO TRAVEL DAY OCTOBER 2023 | BIRMINGHAM TO MELBOURNE WITH TUI

Travel day! Travel with us from Birmingham Airport to Melbourne Orlando International Airport flying with TUI.
For this trip we booked FlyDrive through TUI and paid around £750pp (more pricey than we usually pay for FlyDrive as we always book super last minute) last September (2022) we paid just over £500pp for FlyDrive from Birmingham - so the price can definitely vary so keep an eye on those deals!
We stayed at the Premier Inn at Birmingham Airport and this cost us £240 for 1 night stay, meet and greet airport parking, fast track security and Aspire Lounge. We booked through Holiday Extras using their app.
We arrived at the airport 3 hours before our flight as you can see from the video the check in queue was almost non existent so we got through check in and security super quick! Typical when you’ve paid for fast track and don’t even need it.
The flight departed on time with no delays and we arrived into Melbourne at around 3pm, we were at our hire car by 3.50pm so in and out the airport in no time, this is always the case at Melbourne and why we love flying into it.
The drive to our villa in the Clermont area just off the 192 was 1 hour and 40 minutes via the toll road. The tolls cost about $10 in total and we just paid using cash.
We arrived at our villa, headed out for dinner at Cici’s Pizza $4.99pp for a pizza buffet & went to Walmart.

Thanks for the info about the car upgrade. We always used to get the free upgrade from Full Size to SUV (obviously just need to tip the guy showing us to cars) when we went Sanford. Great vlog.

No problem at all! Nobody even shows you to the cars anymore, just get handed the keys at the desk and off you go. The staff at Melbourne are REALLY lovely though.

Cici’s is good, we go to the one on the 192 not International Drive. I mean $4.99 for all you can eat pizza 🍕 but yeah if you don’t eat cheese I’m sure they’d make one without, that’s the good thing about it if you don’t like the pizzas that are out you can request your own, they have veggie options, plenty of pasta, salad and then they have cinnamon roll & brownie for desserts ❤

The pasta is pretty much just like Betty Crocker's Suddenly Pasta Salad. The CiCi's pizza that used to be open by me, tried to refuse to make a no cheese pizza(just one of the employees) but I spoke to the manager and explained my dietary restrictions, and it was made for me. It's not the greatest pizza and salad bar, BUT, for the price I don't expect high quality gourmet food, lol. My kids loved it though. 😉

Hi! Thanks for watching our video. We bought our initial Disney & Universal tickets from Attraction Tickets - great price & service. We’ve previously used FloridaTix as well. We now have annual passes for Universal (massive saving if you visit Orlando 2-3 times a year) we upgraded our 14 day tickets to annual passes at Guest Services inside Universal. We will be renewing these in November.
