Last August we went as a family 7 of us for 2 weeks in a clermont Villa The middle saturday was our sons 40 th Birthday for the last few years we have been to the NFL games in London His Present was going to Tampa Bay Buccaneers V Miami Dolphins pre season game would recommend it to anyone Brilliant Atmosphere Grandkids 10 and 8 loved it The ships cannons going off when they scored T shirts and gifts being thrown into the crowd between downs Great birthday present tied in with staying overnight in Clearwater and a day at the Beach .Fantastic

@@AdeandLisa as seasoned florida travelers it was amazing for our grandchildren to come with us do all the parks and the beach Top recommendation a couple of days at the beach completely different from the parks . We love all your Vloggs😁👍

Hello, I agree there is so much to do other than Disney. The place where you can drive around the lake to see alligators is called Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive, check opening times as it’s not open everyday. One to do for us on our next trip is Anna Maria Island. Look forward to the next vlog

I’M with you Lisa Celebration is my fav place to go especially on Sunday when they have the market. The Town Tavern one of our fav restaurants. One thing we did on last trip was to hire a small cat boat in Mount Dora which was a 2 person boat and you follow Captain Jack in his boat who tells you lots of tales about the area. We then walked around Mount Dora which reminded me of Winter Garden which is another of our fav places to visit

We're going first time as a family this July, doing the parks but fancied something different to do so going treasure island ciuple of nights and on the way back going to a Rays game, always wanted to go to a baseball game.

We have stayed on Sanibel Island at Shalimar Cottages several times, right on the beach. There is such a relaxed feeling there, plus the beaches on the island and neighbouring Captivia Island are amazing. We are not really beach people either, but you can't beat a Floridian sunrise and sunset. It was hit pretty hard when the last hurricane hit the Gulf Coast and flattened the hotel we stayed at 😢 Sanibel Island is definitely worth a visit though, such a special island that holiday dreams are made of! There is also a great nature reserve in the centre of it. Ticks a lot of boxes.

@@AdeandLisa Yes, it was really sad to see the footage. They are rebuilding it I think, which means we will just have to go back and check it out! Do you think you will make it to Keys? It is well worth it, such a great vide and Key West is just so fun. I think you would both love it plus a trip to the Everglades on the way is a must!

We stayed in Cocoa Beach before our Disney cruise in 2016 and really enjoyed the beach access from the hotel. On a family trip to South Dakota, with my animal loving son, I researched Bear Country USA and decided not to visit due to some of the negative information I found online. We still saw a bunch of wildlife on that trip--Bison especially.

Do you guys do Seaworld? I was happy to see your views on the animals in Wild Florida and we feel similarly about it’s all. Never done Seaworld and never would xx

We did years ago. It was actually our first ever Orlando park we visited on our first trip in 2007. We went years ago when the kids were small. We actually did a behind the scenes tour in 2012 (our last visit to the park) It was a huge eye opener. This was obviously before all the news about seaworld. We are glad things are improving and happy to see changes but we’ve also seen first hand at the good they also do all over the US with regards to rehabilitation and rescues to all kinds of birds & animals that isn’t seen by the general public.

hi guys enjoyed your video. I love Florida but i think the big theme parks are pricing a lot of people out these days, also the exchange rate is poor for us brits of course. I have always loved celebration for a walk round and i used to love the cinema there, saw Toy Story 2 there when my son was younger he is 30 now lol. Think it was 1999 we saw it in the days when films came out in the US months before the UK

I’m looking forward to your video on Silver Springs. We went about 20 years ago ( we were given tickets for all the attractions there as the people who bought them forgot to take them with them. ) We absolutely loved it there,my kids were small & they took part in the animal show. The glass bottom boat was so interesting & we saw lots of wildlife. The Saturday night drive through in the Old Town is so much fun. I’d recommend going in the afternoon and stay there as parking is so difficult later on.

@@AdeandLisa I can’t imagine it’s changed much at Disney Springs. Did you know they filmed the old Tarzan films there? In the Old Town on a Saturday night vintage and fancy cars do a parade round the street. It is great fun.

Always good to hear other ideas for non park trips, we have 4 off site days this summer and I'm trying to narrow down ideas. Are those maybe state parks not national parks you mentioned with the springs? They're definitely a bucket list destination for us. We have a few nights in AMI this year and can't wait 😊. Really good to hear the airboat recommendation, we'll check them out. We love Celebration but also Winter Garden Xx

Done a few sports games Rays baseball and Bucs NFL at Tampa AND Orlando magic basketball all good especially the baseball but I would advise you to get an idiot’s guide to the rules first and it’s a good 4 hours

Our trip in September will be non Disney aprt from looking to get a day ticket to Typhoon Lagoon. Really think Disney prices (both day tickets and the 7/14 add so much to a holiday its not really worth it (for us) plus that can make it 100% Disney and we wouldn't get to do much else. Lots of other areas to visit things to do. Our villa this time is Poinciana so alittle further south from Davenport

Hi we are going in 3 days time never been to Celebration would love to go but no car ! Where would we ask the Lyft to drop us off that was near everything ? X

How exciting! The little town area is really small. We always put the Columbian restaurant into our satnav. It’s easy to park anywhere around there so will be easy for your lyft driver. But The Celebration hotel would be easy too x
