I'm Filipino Australian living in Oz. It was during our last trip to the Philippines that my eyes were opened to places outside of Manila and that sparked a curiosity to know and learn more about my birth country. Thanks for your detailed video of Ormoc City. It looks so peaceful and beautiful! It's now on my list of places to visit outside Manila. ☺️

Nice video of the home town. I married a Filipina from ormoc 10yrs ago. I now have a 6yr old daughter and a 4yr son with her. She also had a 11yr old daughter when I met her online in late 2009. I pulled her of of public school and private schooled her. We sent her to college and she recently graduated. She now works at I do believe at a kia place in the ormoc area. We have 830sq meters with a house on it in the Lao area around 15mins outside of town. I think it's called Lao, I just let the wife handle the details... heading there in mid August for my 6yr old daughters birthday, my wife's dad's B day and one other Bday also. And my step daughters wedding to. Got almost 30 days there. I need to find hidden tourist spots in the area to metal detect. Any ones you know would be helpful.. love the vid, take care and enjoy the city of beautiful people...
