Ormond Beach, Fl postal worker spazzes out…and it’s not the first time

For those who think she is doing her job…. The yard guy comes and mows the grass, but doesn’t weedeat or blow off the driveway, etc… did he really do his job? She already has the scanner in hand, she is required to scan the label upon receipt but refuses to…it’s not difficult and she is the only one who has a problem with it. Scanning the paper only shows she stopped here

Not a Karen really, but I do snap when I know someone isn’t doing their job and it has cost me money in the past. I had a package disappear when the carrier didn’t scan it and the post office was not responsible because “it was never in the system”

@@fcukugimmeausernameno drugs here, I just don’t like losing money and last time this happened she didn’t scan the package until the end of the day…it gets stolen, lost money. I sell online so I ship a lot of packages, in 3 years this is only the 2nd time I’ve seen this carrier

Well in all fairness she didn't have to helicopter mom approve her, the woman knows her job, leave the package there and let her do her thing. The video looks like manufactured outrage for clicks, she knew she was pissing the mail carrier off, probably on purpose.

The problem is the doesn’t … she is supposed to scan upon receipt and she doesn’t. This is not the first time.

Smh these customers really think they know the role of a postal worker. FYI she scanned the paper, she doesn’t have to scan the packages too…that’s what the paper is for.

This is not just a matter of which procedure the postal worker should follow. Even if she's correct, she shouldn't have started screaming at the homeowner that way. She should be reported for that unacceptable behavior, even if she's done her job correctly. She may know how to handle packages, but she sure as hell has a lot to learn about how to handle customers.

You're almost there. If it's an actual manifest (not a pick up request), then it will update the tracking. The paper is to say you recieved the package, you still have to scan it in as prepaid. Customer is still wrong and carrier should of let management handle it.

You don’t now how wrong you are…the paper says she stopped, not that she got anything…and it certainly doesn’t have the tracking number on it… run a small business and ship some stuff, then you’ll learn.

Actually, this is the second time I’ve dealt with her. I ship packages regularly and I know the drill. The package is to be scanned at pickup…last time I walked it out to her, which I do sometimes for my usual drivers, and she just tossed it in the back of the truck and went to take off. I told her to scan it and she went off the same way she did in this video…. I didn’t have video of the last time and I shrugged it off as maybe she was having a bad day…this time it happened right in front of the camera and as soon as she started, I remembered who she was which is why I reacted the way I did. Her supervisor was appalled and agreed, SHE IS SUPPOSED TO SCAN THE PACKAGE WHEN SHE PICKS IT UP
