Huckleberry is my new client horse. In this video, I go over how to put a saddle on an unbroke horse for the first time and even get on him! This is the first time on him in a saddle. We had gotten on him in water before but never on dry land. If you want to see us getting on him in the water make sure to go check those videos out!

Absolutely love your channel Rebekah, your doing an excellent job with him. I also love the fact that ya'll say a 🙏 prayer before you ( or whoever) mounts for the first time. He had his ears pinned back pretty good, so I said a prayer as well. He's learning and I also think he's going to make someone a really nice horse when you've finished training him. Love and God Bless you all 💜 ✝️ grandma Jennifer in AZ.

I was wondering when we were going to see another video from you. You are making good progress with the stubborn strong willed spoiled young boy. Huckleberry was used to doing as he pleased for his early years. He's not happy about surrendering his will, but you firmly, gently retained the alpha position. Excellent training session Rebekah! Talented young trainer! Love, love, love ❤ that you and your Dad pray over the horses! To God belongs the Glory, yesterday, today, and tomorrow! Thank you for the video. God Bless. - ACD

Yourcontent is excellent! Videos would be easier to watch if the camera was set up at the door and facing into the barn - the way it is set up now, the light from the door makes it really hard to see you.

Great video Rebekah but just a suggestion. When you film inside the round ring all the light is in back of you coming in from the barn door. You and Huckleberry is more in the dark and sometimes can't see your face. Need to film closer to the outside door so the light shines on you. Part of the video when you got the bit in his mouth the lighting was so much better and we could see you and Huck. Just saying 🙂

Hi, Becca. Would it be possible to set your tripod and camera up at the barn door so that you use the natural sunlight as your light? With the light behind you, we see mostly silhouette. Great lesson.

Awesome job again Bekka. I can see quite a difference in Huckleberry already, since you started training him. It’s so lovely to see and I’m sure his owners will be beside themselves with happiness and gratitude. When he had his little mishap, or trip, if I had been riding him I would 100% ended up going over his head and landing either on my head, or bottom.🤣🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ I realise that you’re breaking him in, obviously, but what do you personally think about bitless bridles? Sorry just thought I’d ask. He’s a beautiful boy. Sending love and blessings♥️🥰🇦🇺👏🏻
@RanchingWithRebekah
@RanchingWithRebekah 9 күн бұрын
Bitless bridles can be an amazing tool for certain horses. In my opinion they would never work for a show horse of the Missouri Foxtrotters breed due to the intensity of the show. They would be pulling so hard you wouldn’t be able to keep ahold of them. For a pleasure horse or horses used for trails it may work very well, just depends on the horse at that point.

@BetsyAmos
@BetsyAmos 8 күн бұрын
Most of the trainets I've seen using bitless bridles have used them only on well TRAINED horses. And not on those horses prone to pulling.
@oatspoons279
@oatspoons279 3 күн бұрын
Riding bitless can actually cause more damage to anything, it adds a lot of unnecessary pressure to the nasal bone and oftentimes bitless bridles are much, much harsher and dangerous than your regular snaffle and cavesson bridle. I definitely suggest doing some more research on bitless bridles and bits.

Actualy JR. Had the right idea abount training horses to except riders with Oliver at the river mske it a fun game to them and they'll let you on to ride . Oliver was quite capable over destroying JR . But no he was led into it and exceeded it with no resistance .

You and rest of family PUSH HORSES TOO FAR WHEN THEYRE TOO YOUNG! Unsubscribed!
@BellaCW
@BellaCW 9 күн бұрын
They always do. And they're breeding very irresponsibly as well. I could go on and on about all the bullshit they've pulled and the horses lives they've put in danger (or even killed), but it's not Bekkas fault so let's just leave her out of this. I unsubscribed a long time ago from their main channel, around the time they killed that pony by giving him way too much liquid for his size via oil tubing and giving intravenous injection without _any_ education on the matter or even a vets opinion. Point is. Don't blame Bekka for not knowing any better. This is probably the only way of handling horses she knows. And to any other people reading this comment - Please unsubscribe from all their social medias. This channel is problematic as hell and are _not_ promoting a healthy horsemanship or responsibility when it comes to animals.

Although I obviously would disagree all opinions are welcome on this channel. Just a reminder no one truly knows someone by watching a video on your electronic device so always keep that in mind when leaving comment. Although I find it extremely hurtful and you don’t know the pain my family has endured this year, I still respect your opinion. The only thing I would like to ask is to please refrain from using foul language such as cussing in the comments as there are also many young children who read comments and watch these videos. I know you may not respect me or my request but I would like to keep this platform as positive as possible even if you are leaving comments such as this. There is enough hate in this world. Anyways, I’m sorry to have affected you so deeply.

@@RanchingWithRebekah I'm sorry you have to deal with these negative comments. Don't let these negative people stop you from doing what you are doing. I lived with horses on a professional horse farm and I know you and your family are responsible and knowledgeable about taking care of your horses and training them. You have done nothing wrong. You train and teach with positive reinforcement. You have learned well from your dad. I applaud you for taking on doing these educational videos on training horses. ❤🐎❤
