Favela in portuguese is the same thing of "the hood" They're in "Rocinha", a dangerous favela from Rio de Janeiro. And in the end of the video Orochi says "That's the price we pay to live this life (this rich life), it's better being judged to be true than those ones who say lies" He's an amazing rapper, you also need to check "Champanhe ft. 6:36 Favelas are groups of houses in an unorganised and dense manner, like chaotic LA neighbour hoods. There are lot's of favelas in the state and in the city of Rio De Janeiro it self, all of them have a name, the one shown in the clip is Rocinha, probably the most famous one, also going by the name: city of god. And yes, Orochi is from A favela, but not the one shown in the video.

I recommend watching the Brazilian movie city of god, which it inspired trippie redd to film music there, Orochi is affiliated with the C.V Comando Vermelho or Red Command in English, Brazil is known for having the worst homicide rates especially in coastal city or border city slums aka favelas including the City of god slum, and the Rocinha slum that Trippie redd shot his music video in, and those slums in Rio de Janeiro are controlled by the Red Command and it’s currently at war with the Terceiro Comando Puro or the Pure Third Command, and the Amigo dos Amigos or Friends of Friends gang in Rio de Janeiro which was created by a former Comando Vermelho member that got exiled for killing one of his own members and is currently fighting with TCP and CV over territories in the slum, the red command is the 2nd biggest gang in Brazil, they basically spread their influence and gangs from others cities pledged Allegiance to the red command so the red command has territory in most cities with slums, TCP is allied with the PCC, and they are allied with multiple gangs they rival with CV in every city’s slums where the CV red command has territories, like for example the other coastal city of Salvador in the state of Bahia Brazil we have the BDM Bonde do Maluco faction fighting against the CV Red Command, and the Border city Rio Branco has the B13 Bonde do 13 fighting against CV, and the GDE Guardiõs do Estado faction in the Coastal city Fortaleza fighting against the CV Red command, and since all these gangs that are allied to PCC and TCP, all those gangs have the same gang sign and same motto that they say Tudo 3means Everything 3 and throw up the 3 gang sign and the CV and it’s Allie’s say Tudo 2 means everything 2 get it CV? 2? And they throw up the 2 gang sign

Favelas are generally the poorest neighbourhoods in a city. Although they are areas of humble and hard-working people, they are also dominated by the drug traffick.
