Wow. The grounds around the place where you stayed was just wow. The sheltered area outside the house was pretty great, too. What a great place to wake up in, and just hang out. 11:08 Goodness, the coquis were in full effect. Sounds like a gang of them. It looks like you had the plaza all to yourself. Just you and the coquis. This video was a perfect example why my #1 preferred place to live in PR would be somewhere in the mountains. It's almost like therapy.

Totally! When we were trying to decide where to live we were drawn to the west coast because of the beautiful sea, but the mountains nearly won us over. I still love to visit whenever possible! I can see why some people love to spend the summers with family in the high country. It really is like therapy! I am so happy Puerto Rico has both!

It’s very dangerous to drive by El choró de Doña Juana,when there’s a lot of rain. The river floods the street and you can’t cross it. At least it was like that when I was little. My childhood school is near by ( you probably saw it. It’s abandoned now) and they used to send us home early when it was raining.

Hi, the river with the small waterfalls is called Rio Sanamuerto and down river in the town of Morovis you will find the biggest waterfall in the island according to records, you were very close to el Monte Mime and several other waterfalls.
