Chains Fall To Gravity Awaken my sanity Slavery falls to the ground Chains fall to gravity Truth can now be found My freedom yet escapes me as if I am still in chains The memory of servitude it somehow keeps me sane Shadows - my enemy Yet beyond them now I see Fear lingered in me Kept me from being free Pierce the veil of solitude and turn away I must Sand in the hour glass my time is up at last Go forth and be all you can be So you can see the path ahead Let our voice guide you on I feel only pain But I know that everything shall pass The end of the path that forever ignites White light is blinding me Robbing me of my sight Somehow it sets me free Calling me to unite A spell upon me cast Bringing the final light of a long awaited dusk Blessed, you are the one Who opened his eyes to light Now go in peace And step out of this maze I thought that I'm insane I always knew there has to be more than this I am on my way out while you're embracing the dark When a messiah is born it's like a late blooming of a flower rising in the netherworld, waters of hope, falling on an orphaned land No longer the slave Now I roam onto the unknown But as sure as my heart beats I'm not afraid of the light

This is a gorgeous track! I need to get more into Orphaned Land. Any band that's sophisticated enough to get the likes of Steve Hackett to play some lead guitar on one of their songs is a band that is worthy of a closer listen.

Another great song from Orphaned Land, can't wait to have the record on my hands, again, Kobi did a great job in vocals, chen and Idan gave it a new sound too, more dramatic, pretty far beyond from all is one's songs, this will be one of the best metal records from 2018 since now

When I listen to Orphaned Land as a Muslim living in the Middle East and Turks, all my feelings reach an incredible radish, what kind of feelings does a person who does not know oriental metal, an indescribable feast, and does not know this culture and lives in this geography, listen to these music? I've always wondered!

Being a fan of Genesis and Blind Guardian, this album amazed me from the first time I listened to it, not only because it featured my favorite power metal singer and one of my favorite guitar players of prog rock, but most of all because of the beautiful middle eastern and hebrew melodies, I love Israel and the jewish people and this music really touched my soul in a great way. Orphaned Land instantly became one of my favourite groups.

He did almost all the folky part, a lot of instruments (look for Through Fire and Water) and his guitar sound was more powerful. He had like 5 different folk instruments, and now the band just play one. Fortunately, Yossi Sassi band rules the same style as when he was in OL
