TIP: You only need to get one model within 1/2 inch - the other models in the unit will also get a 3" pile in. This helps you get all the models in to attack while keeping unit coherency. This would have helped get the 1" range Brutes in front, keeping the one with the 2" range weapon in back, for example. Also a great way to avoid "deadly" terrain on a charge, since pile in is not a charge or run.

A small note that may have already been mentioned: The nurgle herald does not get to summon as even though he is a caster, he does not have the wizard type and only units that are both chaos and wizards get to summon chaos warscrolls.

U can't cast Mystic shield twice a turn Robb, as You tried f.e. in first turn (Three rules od one).

Rules of one are optional i believe, but suggested for tournament play because they speed things up.

So as per destruction trait, all units with 6" of a general or hero move d6 in the hero phase, just like the iron fist. So in theory, your brutes and goregruntas move 2d6 and your heroes get a d6 since they are obviously within 6" of themselves.

As an Ironjawz player myself just letting you know of some rules that were missed or forgotten: -Brute boss either have a Boss choppa or Brute Smasha&Klaw. -Brutes are able to re-roll failed to-hit rolls if attacking an enemy with 4 or more wounds on its warscroll profile. -The Megaboss allows Brute units within 5" of him to re-roll to-hit rolls of 1. -If Gore-gruntas charge from more than 8" then the hooves deal d3 damage. -All of your non-hero units have bosses. As general rules go that were made: -Abilities and command abilities can be used every hero phase unless otherwise stated. -You are not able to mix and match weapons unless otherwise stated.(ex:Brute squads can not take jagged gore-hackas and 2 choppas in the same unit, though you can take take a gore-choppa for every 5 brutes) -You can not be more than 3" to an enemy unless in combat -You can not cast the same spell multiple times in the same hero phase -Models in a unit must maintain 1" coherency. If outside of coherency than the model can not move unless it is moving closer to maintain coherency. -If you suffer a wound and the unit already has a wound, the new wound must be place on the already wounded model. -Additional save are rolled per damage not wound. -Can be important to not do hero phase and movement phase at the same time(ex: for ironjawz and the additional movement you can do the hero movement first to get in range of the warchanter then buff with said warchanter) -Units have +1 bravery for every 10 models Just a friendly reminder: -If you summon you can not summon more points than the points allocated for points no matter what. -Reinforcing squads with more models through abilities or spells does not count as summoning though the squad can not have more models than when it started in play. I could be wrong in this: -I do not believe you can elect a new general unless a specific rule states it. Great game guys! really enjoyed it and hope to see more. Sorry for all the rules lawyering here. Just trying to help out fellow gamers. Though you guys can always agree to change rules if you so wish, such as playing base to base not model to model. Sorry that I can't help out as much with the Nurgle rules as I don't play them. Though if I knew them off the top of my head I would be more than glad to help with that as well. Also, beautiful models you guys have there! Hope you guys are having a blast and keep doing what you do.

Wounds are not allocated to the closest model in AoS, it's on 'any model you like' - UNLESS there is a wounded model in the unit. for 33:20 the wounded Brute would take the damage

Hey guys! Rules correction: You cant actually cause yourself to miss out on attacks becasuse not in range anymore. The rules state that you first roll all your attacks, then you allocate the wounds

on the feel no pain type saves ya roll for each damage. so ya take your armor save like normal then if its damage 2 you would roll 2 dice for the 5 up fnp. Also its worth it to always roll battle shock if your plaguebearers take wounds because on a 1 you get d6 models back

in fact with ironjaws army you get rampaging destroyers as well as the battalion bonus, this mean the move 2d6 in hero phase and a move in movement and then are still open to charge. brutes bosses with the claw also have teh brute smasha , and if the claw hits you auto hit with smasha, its rend 2 with d3 dmg, the great unclean one shoulda been taken down turn 1

Great batrep, and great to see you playing AoS! A few rules mistakes but I know you are new to it :) A couple of times in the combats against the plague drones you removed killed drones before the attacker had finished attacking. The rules state you remove killed models at the end of the combat activation, so the attacker would not have been taken out of range to finish his attacks after all. (Its on the last page of the rules - "4. Determine Damage: Once all of the attacks made by a unit have been carried out, each successful attack in‘ inflicts a number of wounds equal to the Damage characteristic of the weapon."

@45 minutes: You don't allocate damage until all attacks have been swing. You aren't able to pull models mid combat like that. You can find that in the combat section of your rule book. Their's an order of actions spelled out there.

one thing i think that's important is you assign damage after all attacks are rolled out so you can't strategicaly remove models too prevent a units full attacks sure someone has allready pointed this out . (Double checked for certainty but am correct so yah!)

these have probably been pointed out so I apologise for this if its already been said but on the first round of attacks from the brutes why did you take the models from the other engagement? I mean they weren't being hit at that time you took from the wrong unit. secondly with the boss klaw if you hit both attacks you automatically hit with your other weapon.

I've always been a fence sitter on whether or not to become a veteran. But if you guys keep up the quality AoS battle reports, then it's a no brainer! Also invest in some fantasy terrain, would be even better. KZbin currently has a lack of Quality AoS batreps, you guys are filling in that hole.

I'm pretty sure you should not use formations that are not in pitched battle part of GH. Only formations that are in Grand Alliance and Battletome books are available in Pitched Battles. Thats mostly because some formations are OP as heck and they would break balance.

The Brute Choppas and Gore-hackas are not mix and match. Some units have Choppas, some units have Hackas, no where does it say a unit can have both.

Long War​ A lot more to it than meets the eye. A few things I noticed was keeping all units with in 1 inch while moving/piling in. Don't forget to that terrain is also measured vertically when you move through it. During combat any units within 3 inches of another can pile in and attack. The Nurgle save comes into play after damage is dealt. Attack-save-damage-wound save abilities. For the most part everything else was right.

Long War​ also with the rule of one no spell can be cast twice even if the first wizard failed. With that said the Herald of Nurgle isn't a wizard to begin with.
