@Day It's not a question of relevance. Of course it's relevant, wealth and fame are relevant. But artists with any longevity don't aim for that and if they get it, they are cautious about what they do with it.
@etagged2 жыл бұрын
@DayYou're kidding.. Your examples are all singers that died from OD'ing and lived through careers wracked with meaningless controversy? I thought you would've at least mentioned the Beatles (although I would argue that they didn't survive as a group, although Paul did well for himself). Your distinction between fame and wealth and accolades for singers is an unhelpful dichotomy and is rather *obtuse* . The Grammy's have been under constant criticism for their popularist and pandering nominations, without mentioning the "Billboard Music Awards". The BMA's track popular songs that get played on repeat while people are studying or doing other mundane things in their lives to dull the boredom - they are not accurate measures of brilliance or artistry. Countless contemporary artists like Billie Eilish repeatedly mention the dangers of fame. You can "multitask" but how good are you at playing dead on a bathroom floor?

Yes, at the beginning of her career, she got the public's attention because of her voice and catchy inspirational songs, which led to her success here. No matter what they say, she continues it, and we all love her humbly, funny, and sometimes a bit serious answers in her interviews. And I also saw that people on the internet are jealous and hate her, just like others who say that she can't sing and her voice is ugly singing live. But, here she goes, performing her "Deja vu" song with her talented voice, changed voice, and singing. And those who said she just stole the songs of other musical artists didn't steal them. It was just her inspiration to make her song. So it has the word Credited, isn't it? Thanks for Reading, Have A Nice Day! As Always, Proud of being Livie and proud of Olivia!! 🥰💗💜💜💜🌼🌻✨

I'm proud to say that I used to work for Billboard. Congratulations to them for choosing to honor this amazing girl! I really should be a talent scout. When I first saw Tom Holland's performance in The Impossible - I said that kid would become the biggest thing in Hollywood someday. When I first saw Olivia Rodrigo just as a kid on her Disney Show watching with my little cousin who loved the show- I told her this girl (Olivia) stands out and her presence was like nothing I've ever seen before in a performer. And sure enough, just a few years later-she's already accomplished so much. Her poise is out of this world. She's an old soul with maturity beyond her years which is why she is so successful and so loved by fans of all ages. And yes, she will be around winning Grammys, Emmys and Oscars- imo for the next 70 years. Congratulations to this amazing girl.
