I'm baptist, and have been contemplating this as well. There are theological issues with Orthodox that you might not agree with right off the bat though. I'd definitely do some research before you jump in as a convert, as those hurdles might be too much to bear or get over, depending on where you are in your walk with God, and your convictions about baptist dogmas. If you're a reformed (calvanist) baptist, you'll have an even harder time. Blessings on your walk and search for God though. May He lead you by His Holy Spirit so that you come to a deeper relationship and understanding of our God.

There was one random person in the streets that talked to me in the name of the Lord and told me: you have to stop it, the others wont do it, it is you who needs to stop everything, repent and seek the Lord. Those words stayed with me until one day I was more decisive than ever before and I stopped everything, no more sinning, I was the Lord's again. I've been born and raised as an orthodox, but I've never believed in churches and priests... God and Jesus Christ are everywhere, believe me, no church have heard more prayers than the hospitals walls and walls of your house. I have strictly Non-Denominational parents. We go to a Baptist church and i have found it quite dry for the past few months... I took a peak at Orthodox and I am stuck. I feel conviction that i am following a water down Christianity. I wish I would be able to tell my parents but I've joked around my parents about denominations and they are very clear that they would punish me if i ever chased any other denomination. I don't know if that would be disobedient to my parents to go against what they have told me. Please pray for the guidance that I need...✝️☦️✝️☦️

i was stuck to my chair, unable to move while this played. i felt my body go numb and i just felt at peace. like near death, but without worry. everything was still and i succumbed to the music. as if I was weighed down by a force. A whole 5 minutes of inactivity, just silence and calm. this chant is POWERFUL.
