what does conflict have to do with faith? if there were no conflicts and there were no discussions to be held then all the ecumenical councils would not take place, we as humans have conflicts and by the Mercy of God and through our brethren in Christ we learn and come to a consensus. Some leaders who did not agree for a long term with the church ended up starting their own denominations that preached their own dogmas and interpretations. also there is no where in bible that says bible is the only authority, the protestant have a canonized version of bible it is not even full. sola scriptura is not biblical. the word of god is unlimited and eternal, the bible has a great authority but that does not mean it is the ultimate authority, THE ULTIMATE AUTHORITY IS THE TRIUNE GOD ONLY. ANYTHING ELSE IS JUST A MEDIUM. THE WORD OF GOD IS ETERNAL, UNLIMITED AND VAST THEREFORE LIMITTING IT TO BIBLE IS WRONG. FORGIVE ME IF I HAVE SAID ANYTHING HURTFUL OR IF MY WORDS WERE HARSH. @@abieltm You fail to understand the ultimate authority of scriptures. Church submits to the authority of scripture (Word of God) not the other way around. Please listen to Joshua Schooping who was an Eastern Orthodox priest who converted to Protestantnism....
