At 1:09:00, regarding the "Theotokos, save us" point. This is the usual construction in the Divine Liturgy: "Through the intercessions of the Theotokos, Savior, save us" This shows that an Orthodox understanding is that Christ will listen to His Mother, so that like all The Saints, we may pray to Her to intercede for us to Christ. (Recall that Jesus' first miracle was at the Wedding at Cana, and it was His Mother that asked Him to use His powers so that the host of the wedding feast would not be embarrassed by running out of wine.

Sorry for your loss 🍻 Thank you, for your insight, I was bought up in an independent Baptist church as my parents left their denominations (Lutheran/Presbyterian) when married. When I hit adulthood I hovered in Pentecostal circles, and following a long season of substance abuse I'm now attending the Salvation Army. I don't feel like I belong anywhere until about a year ago when I started to dig deep into the Reformation. Hence Orthodoxy started popping up on my YT feed. I don't know why I've gone from Reformation to Orthodoxy, the only logical conclusion(s) are I'm being drawn to God, or drawn away. I just want Jesus, the real Jesus, I want to be with Him.
