Did you know that your brain is basically electrified Jell-O floating in water? As a result, when you suffer a head injury, you get two brain injuries for the price of one. One on the side of impact which is called the coup injury, and a second injury opposite the side of impact which is called the contrecoup injury. Of course the coup injury is not to Be confused with the coo that occurs when one political party attempts to overthrow the governing political party. But, it can be just as messy and just as undesirable.
