Love the design. Will you be making a bug screen for the sab side window when it is removed for air flow? Also will you be making the deck where the bed fully enclosed as to avoid anyone rolling off when sleeping east west? I got little ones and that is my big concern.

Very practical design, looks great. Is there room to make the side benches into bunks? Are there full door options so there is not the difficult task of opening/closing the tailgate from the inside? I have a 2022 Silverado 2500HD with the Multiflex gate, would love to have one of these Bruins on it.

Great question about the tailgate. I'm looking at a Silverado with the flex gate and didn't even consider that problem. On the good side, now I'd need to pick the power tailgate, which would make closing this up like a dream.

For the 8ft bed model, you mention the tent part stays the same size as the other bed lengths. What makes up the rest of the space? I saw one of your competitors added a storage deck on their 8ft models.

I am not sure I understand your question. The beds are a fixed amount of the space and then you are able to use the remaining space for gear panels, storage, accessories etc. Thanks!

@orudesignsusa Yes, I worded my question poorly. Because of the extra bed length on an 8ft, the shell would obviously need to be 8ft long. Does that mean the tent is basically moved back so not as much is hanging over the cab? One of your competitors kept the 2+ft of cab overhang and added a storage deck on the back. BTW. I use the term "competitor" very loosely. @@BillSkullion Hello, the tent portion is roughly 9' long and 5' wide and the Xl campers are roughly 10' long so you would have about 1' overhang with the Bruin/tenfold and close to 2' on the Bruin XL. Thanks!

Looks great but I have two questions: 1. Does the extra width of this camper interfere with the blind spot monitors of my 2024 Ford F150 standard mirrors? 2. Does the extra width further reduce gas mileage over a standard width camper?

Just because you can't afford something doesn't make it overpriced. Handmade in the USA is worth the extra $$$ IMO.
