The bottom is rounded like that so when you get low on liquid it fills down to the bottom where the straw can access it. It’s actually a genius concept.

The febreze one is pretty easy to explain, basically, the bottom is curved because the bottle is pressurized. If it had square corners the plastic would have to be much thicker as the edges would be stress points so it’s both cheaper and easier to manufacture the bottle this way.
