This guy is a already a fucking legend. He’s doing what pretty much every country music artist is afraid to do or doesn’t have the creativity to do. He’s LGBT, which is pretty much is an unspoken rule in country music that you can’t be gay, and he’s using theatricality that isn’t present in country music.

Same, except more like 20 years. Country from the 2010s to now was awful. I was torturing my coworkers with some solid nostalgic 90s country when someone asked if I'd heard of Orville Peck. Haven't been able to stop listening to him since.
@burninsherman10374 ай бұрын
You may be aware of some of them by now, but incase you're not, I highly recommend checking out Sierra Ferrell, Nick Shoulders, Willi Carlisle, and Sabina McCalla. From there I'd say just dive into the channels WesternAF and GemsOnVHS here on youtube, and just let their back catalogs take you on a ride. I've found loads of great artists in the folks and independent country scene through them, and my ears have been very happy with it. Then, even though he's kinda blown up similar to Orville, Paul Cauthen always gets a recommend from me, cause with his sound anstyle, he's today's Waylon Jennings in my opinion. He and Orville actually did a couple righteous brothers covers under the name The Unrighteous Brothers, and they both absolutely fuckin slap! Easily the best covers of those songs out, and probably the only ones worth listening to. Edit: also, lucero are pretty damn good. They've been at it for years, and are fairly well known within certain circles, but I always recommend them anyway. Saw them at a fest a few years ago, and even in that environment their set felt like hanging out in a small venue with friends, and just letting loose.

I have always been a fan of the theatrical side of music. So uninteresting to see someone standing there in jeans and a t-shirt or looking like they're waiting for the bus. It's a privilege to be onstage. BE the performer you'd want to SEE. This is brilliantly entertaining. He's very good, exciting with or without the mask. But man, The Mask makes it so much more fun and interesting. like Puddles the clown of late. And 70'sKISS, Alice Cooper, Bowie, Slipknot, Ghost, Rob Zombie Gwar,, Insane Clown Posse, Marilyn Manson Makes good and not-so-good music better and exciting. He is great. Don't hate on him for being gay and don't unmask him.

i wonder what happens when he goes to a store and they ask him to take off that mask. there’s places where obviously they want you to wear the usual face mask, for rona, but they don’t allow people in wearing masks like such… guess he just doesn’t go. or well actually i guess when he goes out to say run errands or so he just doesn’t wear it and it doesn’t matter and he doesn’t even get recognized since no one knows what he actually looks like.
