I enjoy the road time... but I reaaly love watching you and Christ working on, repairing, upgrading Orwell, Lazarus, and now Elaine. Its as if the two of you have known one another for years, and worked tofether as long. You both make a very oiled machine, while shooting the breeze with an abundance of humor... unlike the bickering and drama of far too many shops. Im praying that this will be an enduring partnership and friendship for many years to come.🙏💜

That was a good video about the maintenance of Orwell. I definitely think it's worth every dime you spend to keep him on the road. And having Chris there to take on jobs when you're driving is a good move. Soon you will have a fleet and then more possiblities to make interesting content and grow your channel hopefully into millions of subscribers.

Watching you service your truck. I was 14 / 15 years old and I did all my uncles service`s . Lube refiner change out. fuel filters, etc: Engine oil change out.. Cab clean out. Sheets and blankets. Vacuum and wipe down . I Could do a full turn around in less than 24 hrs. Then he was gone again.... Rollin coal and sparks. I`d cry a little, After the soot drifted away. Then he would go away to do some drinking. Then back to 13 weeks of trucking heavy haul. #flyinghamburger. # 157

I cannot believe that there is controversy over pre-filling an oil filter, but evidently there is. When I was doing my own oil changes, I always filled the oil filter with fresh oil before installing it, it just made sense to not have the engine running and the oil pump has to fill the filter before the oil starts circulating. But there are plenty of people who swear that pre-filling the oil filter will ruin an engine because the oil you put into the filter has not been passed through the filter. My response to that is that if your new oil has that much debris in it, you need to switch to a different brand of oil. Chris is a real asset to your operation. He has a great work ethic and he has experience.

I do my own maintenance on all of my vehicles and I've been pre-filling oil filters for years and still do it. I've never had issues with any of my vehicles because of it, Id rather have a filter filled with oil on first start after an oil change than a dry one. People are always going to say their way is better blah, blah blah. I'll do things my way (the right way) and they can do things their way. Half the people starting these controversies probably never turned a wrench in their lives, internet arm chair mechanics.

If you fill the oil filter fill the oil holes on the outside diameter of the filter , 3/4 full is enough .

I run, Power Up, in my oil and it lubes the cylinder walls for those starts where there may not be a lot of oil still clinging. A lot of truck operators use it down this way to give equipement more life. It's available for Engines, Gearboxes and Hydraulics. I don't know under what name it is in your country but someone will know. I swear by the stuff as it conditions seals as well.
