here TAT for P6 is 12 not 13, nevertheless as u mentioned there might be mistakes in maths but the concept is clear, thanks buddy

proc execution priority are depends on arrival time then it's sequence are p1,p2,p3,p4 ,p5

for TQ=4, the TAT of P6 should be (18-6) = 12, not 13.

In sjf you said that we can't know burst time earlier without doing the process then how you are giving condition that if process terminates before time quantum time You come out from that process less than time quantum?

Considering p1 at 4th is wrong because in round robin TQ is allocated to all processes in one cycle

can someone help me to solve this 1. Assume that there are n processes in a ready queue when the time quantum is q. A. Determine the average wait time of the processes. B. Determine the wait time for a new process if the process goes back to the beginning of the ready queue. C. Calculate the average turn-around time if the execution time of processes is m. When the processes are finished, assume that they are executed sequentially. D. Calculate the average throughput using the above results.

Sir , still in round robin I am requiring BT as I am comparing again again with TQ. You said SJF is difficult to implement because we require BT beforehand. So how round robin is being implementable.

mistake in (time quantum 4) tat is not 13 it will be 12 and in wt not 10 it will be 9 but u explain very well

After 2nd P2 there should be P5 before P6 because P5 is 6-2=4 still remaining
