Yeah I used to be an Osa main. Had like 11 hours on her during Solar Raid (I think). Only reason I stopped is because teams started doing what happened on that Emerald Plains clip. Everyone brings impacts or C4 and my shields become useless because the instant I put them down I would get nuked by like 4 impacts and they still have some left for the second if I even get that far.

Also you can disable Aruni gates on doors and windows with a Talon-8, but the door frame has to be thin enough for the Talon to touch it when set.

Osa is fantastic. She’s just frustrating to play. Some of those frustrations go away when you realize how to avoid them or use them to your advantage. The animation lock where your hands are exposed and you for some reason stick the shield 6” further then where it actually gets placed is probably 90% of why people don’t like her. There’s so many ways to deal with her and I don’t think I’ve ever loaded into a match where Defense had fewer than 6 explosives

Osa would be great if they fixed that stupid mechanic where if you place the shield while you happen to be standing you stand directly back up as soon as the animation ends. It's literally cost me games all because i forgot to crouch before placing the shield even though the animation MAKES YOU CROUCH.

She is an incredibly reactive operator. Most players unfamiliar with playing her will just put down her shield in doorways and windows and just leave it at that when the shield is essentially a part of her and never notice how strong she can be in post plant situations.
