OSAKA MONAURAIL 7.7.12

I saw the flyer for this event with Osaka Monaurail (deemed Japan's premiere funk/soul band) earlier on in the day but because of work I didn't think I would make it to the performance in time so I put it out of my head. When I finished work I was on my way home and I ran into my good friends Jesse Ohtake and Nic Shimura, who were heading to the concert. Jesse said they just got on stage so we caught the next queen streetcar over to the Great Hall and managed to catch 3/4 of the set. I really enjoyed the performance so I grabbed a copy of their album on vinyl on my way out. This orchestra really knows how to put on a show!

They are great, but he needs to stop doing the 'Frankenstein' dance move lol, once in a while is OK but all the time doesn't look too hot.
