So basically, 12 min HIIT (or Tabata) with various exercises. That can't be all they do for "strength and conditioning"... And if it is, they probably wouldn't be noticeably weaker if they stopped doing it. We can't derive their whole strength training just from one video, but that push-up form is telling of the quality of their instruction in that domain. I get that doing actually relevant and useful upper body and lower body strength training isn't their focus and that they absolutely EXCEL in their kendo training and performance, but gosh is it always weird to see top-level athletes do this kind of training.

WTF? Except for the brief pan to the right at 3:29, you would even know that women were included in this training.
