Thank you! We are planning a trip this year and I found this to be the most helpful KZbin video so far. I really appreciate that you included practical and descriptive shots. And I see you and your family are lovely people, but thank you for thinking of your audience and not making the video mostly about yourselves like so many other KZbinrs! :D Looking forward to your next video

great episode! Really enjoyed this one as myself is going through similar process as you exploring the world while semi retired. I normally stay in the northern umeda area in Osaka when I visit so it's informative to see more southern districts oriented content. Kyoto tho, took me around 9 days in february to fully enjoy. There are just so many gems (sometimes hidden) there. I highly recommend starting around Gion area, which Nohga is a great hotel with an amazing restaurant (cicion) as a base for exploration. While there, I highly recommend hopping on a train to Uji for a day trip. Uji s got some great bakeries and food. The most most insanely delicious thing ive tasted is a Duck Burger and Duck Shabu. All in the same shop. seriously one of the best things I've ever had.

Japan has a rich history and it is really one of the places on my bucket list! I'm excited to see what you are going to upload next as I want to see how your trip went! Also, have you tried using a duffle bag for your travel? I recommend using the Bento Bag from Nomad Lane. I've been using this bag as my personal item bag for months now and it is such a hack. I tried using packing cubes and they are amazing but now I switched to a duffle bag. Tried Nomad Lane's Bento bag and it's a good choice!

Hi thank you so much for this video! I have a question. So, this summer I'm planning a solo trip to Osaka, but I also want to visit some other places like Kyoto, Teshima, and Tottori. I'd like some tips and advice on traveling there, as well as an effective route to reach all these destinations. Should I go to Osaka → Kyoto → Teshima → Tottori, and then back to Osaka, or is there a better way? I appreciate your help! Thank you.
@eileensworld8 ай бұрын
Hi there! I have not been to Toshiba or Tottori so I don’t have any insight to share with you. Osaka to Kyoto is around an hour by train so super easy to get back and forth from. I know many people who fly into a larger city (Tokyo or Osaka), travel around, and then go back to the city they arrived in before they leave
