Ok quick theory here: Info Chan could end up being a secret final rival, it could turn out that during the entirety of the game she’s only been using you to get rid of her own rivals, because she also loves senpai, this could possibly explain why she’s so secretive about her motives for wanting to see each of Ayano’s rivals “Suffer” and so the reason why she constantly provides Ayano with information and help to achieve the goal of eliminating the rivals to get to senpai is because that goal is a common one. So, now having seen the after credits scene and hearing about the "For the sake of progress" line, I'm going to theorize here. Old Man Saikou (sounds like psycho if you ask me), is older than Ayano's mom, already a full adult by the time she was born. Both Ayano and her mother have the weird thing going on where they are like, emotionless until they meet their 'special someone.' Basically, I'm saying that Old Man Saikou had a hand in Ayano's mother's birth (experimentally, not biologically) for some reason or another. That, or her parents went to Old Man Saikou to ask for aid in 'healing' her of whatever 'defect' the family line has. It was why Ayano's mother got off so easily in her court case and also why Ayano can get away with so many things. Old Man Saikou is still experimenting and trying to find what makes her tick.

The short cutscene of the suicide is pretty well done.
