우리나라에 재즈가 나온게 1960년대 중반부터 1970년대 중반까지 나오다가 재즈에 즐거움을 모르는 국민들에 의해 재즈는 사양길로 접어 들면서 2000년대까진 암흑기라 생각됩니다 그러다가 21세기가 되면서 부터 재즈가 활성화 되면서 요즘에 이르러서는 재즈 팬들이 생겨 났다고 봅니다 우리나라에 1970년대 중반부터 2000년대까지의 암흑기가 없었다면 지금 우리나라도 상당한 재즈 팬들이 생겼겟지 하는 아쉬움이 많습니다 여튼 지금부터라도 많은 재즈 종사자들이 빛을 발했으면 합니다

재즈가 아무리 인기가 없어도 사라지지는 않을겁니다. 원래가 소수 매니아들의 음악이기 때문에 큰 인기는 바라지도 않지만, 그래도 요즘은 재즈를 바라보는 시선이 예전보다는 훨씬 부드러워져서 기대도 살짝 해봅니다. ^^

Wynton said the same thing. Her sense of rhythm is exceptional. You can hear it in her phrasing and improvising. A lot of less skilled musicians tend to play a solo mostly in straight 16th notes. Da Kyoung plays very sophisticated syncopated phrases. I think that's why a brilliant artist like Wynton mentioned that in the video where your daughter met him. It's the first thing I noticed that is a level above most in players at any age or experience. That quality in her playing draws immediate attention. Honestly,my first thought was,"How is it possible that she could do that at her age?". I think she was born with that ability. I don't know even a fraction of what Wynton does but I can say I've only seen a few young kids that can play with advanced phrasing like her and to me I don't think it's possible to learn that in her short time playing even though I know she started at 2 years old. Maybe a real expert will say otherwise. She's kind of like a baby Louis Armstrong(his rhythmic sense)!😁

I love how she pays attention to what the other musicians are playing too. This is probably why she learns at warp speed. Wynton also said she is highly intelligent. That is so obvious to me and probably everyone that sees and hears her. Her playing is SO intelligent! She has a great sense of what to play and when. Honestly,my biggest worry for her is if she feels too pressured to achieve. I know the school system in S. Korea is very stressful. Parents are very demanding and have really high expectations there too. My guess is that Da Kyoung is a person that will need very little outside influence to motivate her. She seems self-motivated. I can tell her outstanding brain is processing everything she sees and hears. My wish for her is that she is allowed to learn at her pace because it is already an exceedingly high level. I think pushing her too much would ruin what is beautiful about her. It's none of my business of course, but that's what I hope for her.

다경이가 4살때부터 정식으로 트럼펫 레슨을 시작한건 큰 모험이었습니다. 주위에서는 다들 말렸습니다. 지금 생각해보면 꼭 그때 시작해서 잘하는건 아닌거같고 기본적인 재능을 타고난거 같아요.

리듬감이나 애드립 스타일이 같이 연주하는 분들보다도 나은 듯 합니다. 연주의 감을 키우기 위해 여러 곳에서 연주시키는 것도 좋지만 무의미한 많은 연주는 오히려 연주력 발전에 도움이 안될 수도 있습니다. 아직 나이가 어린만큼 클래식트럼펫에 좀 더 치중한 후 재즈를 제대로 배우는 것이 어떨가 하는 생각입니다. 앞으로 대성할 음악성을 갖고 있는 것만은 확실해 보이네요.

과찬이십니다. 나이가 어리기 때문에 칭찬을 후하게 받는 편입니다. ㅎㅎ 같이 연주하시는 분들이 교수님도 계시고 유학파도 계시고 전부 프로 재즈 연주자들입니다. ㅎㅎ 다경이는 6살때부터 서울시향의 수석 트럼펫터 바티 교수님의 레슨을 받아오고 있습니다. 솔직히 재즈는 레슨을 받아본적이 거의 없습니다. 저와 음악 들으면서 말 배우듯이 몸으로 배운 재즈입니다. 적당한 시기가 오면 이론적인 재즈도 공부할 생각입니다. 음악에 대한 이해가 많으신 분같은데 많은 관심 부탁드립니다.

저는 정통재즈는 그루브가 없이 딱딱해서 잘 안듣게되고 스무드재즈만 듣습니다 거의 매일요. 다경이도 스무드재즈를 연주하면 차렷자세를 벗어나 가벼운 율동도 겸하면서 더 재미있게 연주활동 하지 않을까싶네요. 재즈계에서는 두 장르를 완전 별개로 구분하는지 아니면 양쪽을 겸해서 활동하기도 하는지 궁금하네요. 물론 스무드는 전자악기를 주로 사용하니 세션도 구분되어 따로 활동하겠지요?

저는 오히려 정통 재즈의 스윙감이 좋아 정통 재즈 위주로 듣는데요. ㅎㅎ 스무드 재즈의 경계선도 좀 모호합니다. 팝과 재즈의 비중에 따라 어떤 분들은 재즈라고 생각 안하시는 분들도 있구요. 음악은 좋아하는걸 듣는게 좋지만, 재즈를 처음 들을때에는 인내심이 좀 필요합니다. ㅎㅎ

@@oceancorea 재즈를 잘은 모릅니다만 스무드재즈나 클래식재즈나 화성은 같지만, 스무드는 리듬도 펑키나 소울처럼 그루브가 강하고 또 전자전기 악기를 사용하니 임팩트도 있어서 멜로디나 화성을 경쾌하고 강하게 전달하는것 같습니다. 지루하지가 않다는 말씀이지요. 어쿠스틱재즈 중에서 피아노트리오는 가끔 듣는편입니다. 피아노가 화려한 재즈멜로디와 화성을 다 보여주기 때문이죠. 재즈문외한이 주절주절 말이 길었네요. 다경이의 재능을 감상하다보니 이런 댓글도 쓰게되네요 ㅎ

음악적인 취향은 다 다른거 같아요. 저는 스무드보다 아예 비트가 강한 프린스나 데이빗 보위같은 음악을 좋아해요. 근데 정통 재즈에 그루브가 없다고 하시면 재즈팬들이 화낼수도 있어요.ㅎㅎ 박진영이 에스페란자 스팔딩 얘기했을 때처럼요. 저는 어떤 뜻으로 말씀하셨는지 이해할거 같아요. 오해하시는 분들이 계실까봐요. ^^

@@oceancorea 박진영이 kpop스타 방송중에 그루브없이 딱딱한 재즈는 못듣겠다 했을때 왜 스무드재즈는 모를까하고 답답했던 기억이 납니다 ^^ 정통재즈에 그루브가 없기야 하겠습니까만 전자악기로 다양한 최신리듬으로 연주되는 스무드재즈와는 사운드에서부터 비교가 안되겠지요만 다 취향나름인듯요

그럼요. 어쿠스틱이든 전자악기든 연주하는 사람에 따라 감동이 오는거죠. 다른건 어쿠스틱이 좋은데 칙코리아는 어쿠스틱밴드보다는 일렉트릭밴드가 더 좋더라구요.

정말 다경양 얼굴이 하나도 안보이게 잘도 찍었네요 ㅋㅋ 이건 유투브에 올릴만한 영상이 전혀 아니올시다 ;;; 다경양의 훌륭한 연주를 듣기만하고 볼수 없다니 안타깝네요;;; 성의가 이렇게 없어서야 쯧쯧;;;

공연중에 핸드폰으로 촬영을 하기가 쉽지가 않습니다. 촬영을 못하게 하는 공연도 있고 조명 때문에 조도가 계속 변할때고 있구요. 저때는 핸드폰 구입한지도 얼마안되서 아마 조작도 미숙했던거 같아요. 굳이 변명을 하자면 그냥 버리기에는 연주를 너무 잘해서 올린거고 저때는 구독자수도 거의 없었을때라 누구에게 보여준다는 생각보다는 유튜브에 보관한다는 생각이었어요. 그렇게 이해해주시기 바랍니다.
