Grandad recently passed away and this track has really helped me reflect on the memories we'd shared. Always cherish the ones you love as much as possible, even when it seems hard to do so. This is my favorite track out of all the Ambient Time albums. This track feels like an audio representation of a happy memory, with an undertone of sadness. A happy memory that cannot be relived, but always cherished.

It helps that the emotive context behind this character and her story, in the context of Finn's life-story, is particularly heavy and moving. This almost reminds me of the soundtrack from undertale, it just feels so homey. It's like experiencing the hardness of life, all the ups and downs, wearing down over time and just coming to the constant that is your childhood home, your mother and father just waiting to give you a hug.

It has always been a very happy and beautiful scene, but I never cried for that scene, because it didn't really seem like a “goodbye” but more like "we'll see each other again, soon" especially because they then reunite in the finale. The scene that I think is the saddest was the backstory of Finn's parents. Knowing that Martin really loved him and they will never know it made me cry so much. 😢😢
