Vergil has yet to show that he can make 154 lbs without draining himself. As has been said, losing the last 2 or 3 pounds to make the weight can make a huge difference. He has been contracted to come in at 156 lbs in his last two fights. Until he safely makes 154 lbs, I would hesitate to count on Vergil at that weight class. He may be better off moving up to 160 lbs sooner than later. I do believe he's among the elite at either weight class and I do look forward to seeing him fight again.
