I have a few bottles of edt thats 20 plus years old... They still smell like they should but with a strong hint of a burnt log smell.... Any thoughts why this is?

I know what you mean, I personally like the burnt log smell, I have a 40 years old bottle that has got that smell. my guess is some of the compounds have broken down.
