Poorer people are more likely to give to charity and help others because poverty is directly related to higher moral attitudes and behavior. Those who live in poverty are likely to be more dependent on other people. They may also be more sensitive to their social environment. On the other hand, more affluent people may think that they can manage on their own and do not need other people.
