We're at about the same progress point in the game, except I'm playing on hardcore difficulty setting to make it last longer. It definitely slows down progress.

Massivly. 2-3 bad runs in a row and you easily burn trough 100k worth of equipment.

i was also just playing some Zero Sievert and was able to kill the boss in the train yard and kill the green army guy but I was killed in the dark by a boar. I always enjoy watching you play Mikey. Your tactics help me improve.

Anomaly's a good intro to Gamma, gives you some of the mechanics without dumping you into the full experience. It's what I did, played a bit of Anomaly until I wanted the more hardcore experience.

Looks like the value of cash you find in raid was once again nerfed. They originally nerfed them, then buffed them and now they've nerfed em again, luckily they weight next to nothing but it takes 4 roubles to sell for 1, so it's not great but better than nothing if you have nothing else for the slot.

Pro Tip: "Stalker Anomaly - Escape from Pripyat" Mod 😅 it made me so addicted, it's like Tarkov, but far more enjoyable imo. Also with Hardcore Health System and Bullet per Bullet loading and so on and on 😊

GAMMA is not too difficult and the GAMMA discord community would be happy to help you tailor the settings to your liking. Its more effort but If GAMMA were a deluxe cheeseburger then Anomaly would be a plain baloney sandwich :P

The Lazar quest is buggin for me real bad in Forest. I've picked up the documents and pinged Lazar multile times, and it doesn't end the quest. Gonna report it to the bug report form thingie later.

Not really sure what the point is of staying for so long on the map? All the management you have to do with items and trips back and forth nullifies any time saved by staying. A lot of what you lug back to the extraction isn't able to be brought back anyway do to inventory space. It's just more efficient to get what you can carry (maybe drop some off if there is a location close by with extra loot) leave and come back. Igor isn't going anywhere also.

Grindy as heck with the modules....especially finding the wirecutters, propane tanks, power drills.... As usual, the ZZ Vel makes easy to anything til we have to deal with "Big"..... Orel/Lazar armor is far cry useless, compare to previous... The barman's class 4 with high rad unlocked was my go-to til mall, or a cyclops was available. One video of 1 hour gameplay is not going to make much progress, looking at 20+ videos for a complete, end-2-end....entire game is just too grindy, slow in progression...and if one is looking for challenges in hardcore....enjoy your replays...LOL.
