This is so typical isn't it? Will Smith spend the majority of his career as a COMIC ACTOR! It's impossible to count how many times he has publicly teased or roasted others. But now, he's a "serious" actor... no more comedy for him! lol. Not to mention trying to be a tough guy now. Sorry Will, beating up on a 95 pound, sickly and skinny looking little guy like Chris Rock does not make you tough. I wonder how tough he would have felt if Jason Mamoa or Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson were hosting that night and made the joke.

Well the fact is that every people speaking make notes with his voice. The more you express yourself, the more the notes can be far from each others, and make some melody-like sound. That musician is very smart and talented. I think he reproduces the notes the people make when they speak, then he plays them, and/or the chords that correspond to these notes, or being a part of the chords that construct the song composed from the notes spoken. The idea is brilliant and the composition talent is big.

And I thought the first version was already great, but Andre has taken the time (couple days more probably?) to work on the arrangements. Out of this world, just listen to 1:40 - 1:45

this is impressive. if i somehow have never known what happened with the oscars, i'd assume this is actually a really weirdly cool song.

I absolutely love the fact that Andre does not speak, and just lets the music highlight hypocrisy and self-important outrage. Any kind of commentary at all would spoil it. It takes a monumental effort to not inject one's own inflated worldview into a YT video these days. Despite my own worldview biases, I love that I don't have to suffer some musicians narcissistic impositions, and just...laugh and listen. Thanks bro!
