Amelie and Lagaan are the more enjoyable movies, but No Man's Land is the more important movie, about the '90s Bosnian Muslim genocide, which is still relevant to this day. While I would've preferred Lagaan to win, No Man's Land is a deserving winner. 2001 was a very competitive year for the foreign film category, with Amelie, Lagaan and No Man's Land all deserving of the award.

These poor Gora’s wondering why one Oscar KZbin video is full of Lagaan commenters wishing things went different 🤣🤣. If this 3 hour albeit lovely film is all we can produce from India then we need to work harder. It was a good film but it dragged on and on. Westerners hate long movies

No man's land is just hilarious ! It's great to see a movie about war without all that blood and violence.

He doesn't attend shitty award shows like Filmfare Panwala Patanjali Fair&Lovely beautycream vivoS10plusmax64GB most weight lost award. He I think attended a show for best director for Taare Zameen Par in another award function recently, but it wasn't some cringy award show where they dance and stuff
