Bong painted himself into a corner though, and I wonder if he realizes the dilemma he put himself into. When I was in high school and college, all of us hated the guy who got the highest score in the math class -- because the rest of us suffered from the "curve" grading as a result. That means Bong can only go downhill from here. I hope not, but the stats are against him.

It felt to me what just happened to him was so wonderful and magical to the point of disbelief. He must've felt so proud and on top of the world back then. The future was so promising and unlimited to him just 3 years ago. How tragic, how painful...RIP Lee Sun Kyun. And South Korea won its first Oscar for Best International Feature Film. Joaquin Phoenix won Best Actor, Brad Pitt won Best Supporting Actor, and the composer for Joker won Best Score. I just said composer since I don't know how to spell or how to pronounce her name. And Taika Waititi picked up an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay. Please is the scene really scary!!!????.....coz that depends whether or not I should watch the movie,of course I know it's great but I am hell of a scary cat..I cannot tolerate horror scenes at all😭😭😭😭
@lilith48914 жыл бұрын
Tiara P. I think the scene is scary 😂 But you can skip it if you want to, it’s the scene where the little boy is eating cake besides the fridge☺️ You still should watch the movie tho!!

Ohk....ty☺️

Don't skip it. If you don't like some scary stuff, it's not even that scary just sort of scary. The movie is NOT terrifying, it is a dark COMEDY.

Don't skip the scene. Watch the whole movie.

I feel like when they all got up onto the stage, it was a very Asian moment 😂 like the parents came with the rest of the family to the stage with the child who won an award at school. A very inspiring moment especially to the Asians filmmakers out there.

This was a historical moment for us Asians. I can proudly say that, movies produce by Asians are totally great. I can totally guarantee that. Some international film festivals acknowledged the works of Asian producers/actors like cannes film festival even before. This is just a start.

Do you have a recommendation?
@naya32533 жыл бұрын
@@talkhtw55 I used to think hollywood is superior in creating movies, but after watching korean movies i completely changed. Now i enjoy “foreign” movies as much if not more than hollywood. I’d recommend other Bong Joon Ho’s movies: mother, memories of murder, the host and the classic, Old Boy.

@Rajesh Vengadesan I watched a lot of bollywood as a kid (the romance ones where they sing and dance) and i absolutely loved it😁 can you recommend me Indian movies from recently that is worth watching?

I watched Parasite today. *What. A. Film!* I have always wondered to myself: "with so many stories that have been told, is there still room to make new stories that can still be iconic?" Parasite answered my question.
